Ornament Exchange

I finally got a good start on my Ornament Exchanges. I am in three exchanges. I am making pinecone skiers. I got the idea from a magazine and it is different then I usually do each year. I tried to make the hats out of felt, but they either looked like paper hats sitting on the head or a fortune cookie. I dug out an old pattern of mini hats I had knit for another exchange years ago. Now that I dug that folder out of older projects I hope I can post the projects here.

Failing

Okay, so far I am failing at this blog attempt. It is almost two weeks later and I have not kept up. Last week was busy with work and took a day and went shopping at Christmas Tree Shop ( got some really good deals including two set of drawers for my daughter. The next day my dd and I drove up to see my aunts for the day. This week, I did some Fall decorating outside and normal work, etc. Sorry Ho Hum the past couple weeks. I did start a circular knit afghan and I am on the fourth slice. The slices are connected as you knit, so no sewing until the very end to close up the two sides. I am cross stitching a Santa Claus cinnamon stick holder bag. Plus, got to squeeze in making about sixteen pinecone skiers. So that is the scoop.
